What if, regardless of your childhood challenges, economic status, and past dysfunctional relationships, you could be happy, realize your potential, and achieve your dreams? I am always fascinated by the stories of those who started with what may seem to others as so little and were able to achieve so much. Oprah Winfrey, Elvis Presley, J.K. Rowlings, Colonel Sanders, and LeBron James are just a few of those incredible people with incredible stories. Their stories of their life journeys demonstrate what can and will happen when we set our intention and move in the direction of our desires and dreams. Each of these individuals has their own story of overcoming adversity, eventually realizing their potential and living their dreams. I wanted to know how does this happen to some and not others. What I came to realize is that it does not just happen to them, they made it happen for themselves.

believe we are born with the abilities, passion, curiosity, and drive to realize our potential and achieve our dreams. If we were not given those attributes when we entered into the world, we would not have the intrinsic motivation to learn to walk, talk, or play. I believe through the curiosity of play, we begin to discover our talents, passion, and drive. We favor certain toys or ways of playing. This is the early process of self-discovery. What happens to that curiosity, passion, and drive as we mature? Well, unfortunately, for many of us, our growing years are cultivated by compliance behavior, meeting the expectations of others or the system, and continuous self-talk filled with self-doubt, limiting beliefs, and avoidance, protecting ourselves from failure, identity crises, and threats to our ego.

For the past 30 years, I have been intrigued by the concept of motivation and conscious self-development.

What if your dreams became a reality?

What if you could “go confidently in the direction of your dreams and live the life you’ve imagined,” as Henry David Thoreau suggested?

What if you had the knowledge, tools, and skills to enjoy and be successful in the career you have imagined?

Conscious self-development empowers us to become aware of and focus on what we really want for our personal and professional life. The process of conscious self-development enables us to connect our inner purpose and passion to our outer goals and aspirations. Whether our goals are stimulated from an outside source or an inner desire, all change starts from within.
Conscious change happens when you assess your current state, determine and visualize your desired state, and then begin to close the gap with an established plan. In other words, start where you are and move forward with intention, self-determination, and direction.
Practicing conscious development creates a state of awareness that awakens an intrinsic motivation to learn and grow with focused intention and self-determination. This is conscious self-development!

In 2005, I learned about the profession of coaching, and I knew right then that I had found my path to realizing my own potential and how I was going to live my purpose. My dream has always been to be in a position where I could inspire and support others so that they may discover their innate abilities and desires and set them on the path to realize their purpose and dreams.
People hire coaches for one simple reason; they want to get more out of themselves and their lives than they seem to be getting on their own.

As a certified coach with a doctorate degree in human development, I am a personal and professional development coach who focuses on conscious self-development. In addition, my nearly 30 years of experience working at various levels of management and leadership in the corporate environment, along with a master’s degree in organizational development and a master’s degree in management, I believe that my insight and knowledge is what makes my coaching and consulting practice complete. My experience in various industries such as retail, higher education, manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, entertainment, government, oil & gas, gaming, and consulting has provided me with a depth and breadth of knowledge and awareness of the challenges and opportunities in the professional world.

I am passionate about and supportive in assisting you as your professional performance coach. I have spent a lifetime mentoring, teaching, and developing people, who are at all levels of their careers, to achieve the success that they desire. It is my belief that we each have our own inner desires to grow and realize our purpose and potential in work, relationships, and life.
